I like having insightful discussions on photography in my blog’s comment sections. However, I should put in place a few basic rules in the form of community guidelines, to help ensure that everyone has a positive and fulfilling experience.
The basic premise of these rules is that when contributing to the comment sections, you should be kind to others. Even if you disagree with someone’s point of view, remember to remain kind and respectful. Make sure your comments are related to the image or blog subject on which you are commenting. I hope to create enthusiasm in my community by sharing our passion for photography, offering advice, and serving as a source of inspiration for others.
Since photography is all about appreciating multiple perspectives and techniques, we should also celebrate diversity in the comments. I’ll be monitoring comments often and removing those that don’t follow these guidelines. I will also remove any comments that I believe to be spam or personal promotions. These straightforward guidelines will hopefully help me build an engaging group of photographers that is kind and open to conversation and mutual learning!
